Vusal Rahim
Vusal (son of Khalil) Rahimov was born on December 20, 1987, in Ganja, Azerbaijan. He studied at the 20th secondary school in Ganja from 1994 to 2005. From 2007 to 2011, he pursued a bachelor's degree in "Theater-Decorative Art" at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts. Starting in 2011, Vusal Rahimov began his independent creative activities and also served as the founding artist in various theaters throughout the country.
He provided stage and costume design for numerous performances, including "Scapin's Deceits" (J.B.Molyer), "Sleeping Beauty and the Rascals" (Sh.Pero), "Golden Wedding" (O.Kazimi, R. Heydar), "The Adventures of Buratino" (A.Tolstoy), "New Year of the Rascal" (based on Azerbaijani folk tale "The Rascal"), "Nuri-dide Jeyhun" (Ə.Amirli), "Paris Notre Dame Dedicated" (V.Hugo stage adaptation by S.Qulamov), and "As Long As One Breath" (based on a play by S.Qulamov). Vusal Rahimov attaches great importance to the precise portrayal of characters and the realization of the ideas envisioned by the director in all his artistic works.
Overall, he has created five individual exhibitions and participated in nearly 100 local and international group exhibitions, managed nearly 40 social-cultural projects, and served as the founding artist for three TV series and films.
In October 2021, he was appointed as the Chief Artist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.
