Susan Orujova

Orujova SUsen daughter of Kamal was born on October 28, 1999 in Baku. From 2006 to 2017, she studied piano and choral conducting at the Bulbul Secondary Specialized Music School. From 2017 to 2021, she studied choral conducting at the History-Theory Faculty of the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Baku Academy of Music. From 2021 to 2023, she completed a master's degree in choral conducting at the Baku Academy of Music. During that period, she underwent practical training at the Azerbaijan State Choir Chapel, developing her knowledge and skills in working with a professional collective, repertoire preparation, and stage performance. Developing both her theoretical and practical knowledge, she participated in various concerts and festivals. In 2018, she performed in choral conducting at the Caspi Art International Music Competition. Since 2019, she has been working as a choir artist at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. Since then, she has participated in many performances and cultural events. She is participating in the musical performance “Believe in the Song” (composed by Polad Bulbuloglu), which premiered in 2023, as part of the “Countess” quartet.
