Atilla's first solo concert was welcomed by applause at the Academic Musical Theater

Winner of national and international contests, Presidential scholarship- Atilla Mammadov’s the first solo concert "O Motherland!" happened at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. At the show, the director of the theater, honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev, informed the participants about the creativity of the young actor and wished him success in his future activities. "As before, we will keep organizing concerts of presidential scholars that working at our theater, in the upcoming months."
"Children with unique talents in Azerbaijan are always respected and cared for by the state. Atilla Mammadov, who has managed to differentiate his same-age because of his vocal capabilities, is one of them. In 2012, his name was added to the Golden Book of Young Talents by presidential decree and awarded Presidential Scholarship. Atilla, who has been working at the Academic Music Theater since the same season, was accepted to play the image of the Little Prince at the "Little Prince," which had premiere last season (A.S.Exupery, R.Aghababayev) through a competition. Today, I can say with full responsibility that we were not mistaken in our choice." he mentioned.
In the concert, he sang "Azerbaijan" (M.Magamoyev), "Beloved Lover" (U.Hajibayli), "Mother" (S.Aliyeva), "Dicitencello Vuje" (R. Fierro), "O Sole Mio" (E.D. Capua), "I will survive" (G. Gaynor), "Quizas, Quizas, Quizas" (Osvaldo Farres), "Hava Nagila" ("Jewish folk song"), "L'Italiano" (Toto Cutugno) and "O Motherland" (Elza Ibrahimova). He duetted the song "Quizas, Quizas, Quizas” with Lala Ibrahimova, a student of the Baku Music Academy, who was awarded the Presidential Award at the same the year with him. He also duetted "I will survive" with the French vocalist Mary Maygari, whom he met at the Zima 2016 Children Music Festival in Baku.
At the concert, he was accompanied by the musicians of the music school number 3 - Sevinj Azizova, Hasanagha Samedov, Aytan Jafarova, "Divisi" choir of the school, and Iranian student of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory - Talebi Ruzbeh. He has prepared a variety of songs performed here, as well as his recent performances at the International Television Competition in Moscow, "Во весь голос" show with Anastasia Budakva, a Ukrainian educator.
In the end, Saadat Veysova, director of Lyceum School 20 called after Arif Huseynzade, and Mehin Orujova, Director of Music School # 3 named after Jovdet Hajiyev, expressed their pride and appreciation to Atilla for being such an exemplary pupil. They congratulated him on behalf of teachers and students of the school they represent.
