The premiere of the play "Gulchohra and Asgar" at the Academic Musical Theater was a success

On November 18, the premiere of the play "Gulchohra and Asgar", staged based on the play of the same name by the prominent scientist, People's Writer Kamal Abdulla, was presented at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

Among the public representatives who watched the performance were Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, as well as Arzu Aliyeva and Alena Aliyeva. They congratulated the author of the work and expressed their sincere impressions and good wishes about the performance.

The composer of the musical drama is Honored Art Worker Javanshir Guliyev, and the director is Honored Art Worker, President's Prize winner Asgar Asgarov.

It should be noted that the two-part play "Gulchohra and Asgar" is a continuation of the operetta "Arshin mal alan" by the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, which ends with a happy ending.

The stage play depicts the tragedies committed by the Bolsheviks during the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic against the backdrop of the difficult life stories of Gulchohra and Asgar…

The stage play is directed by Elmaddin Dadashov, the stage conductor is Honored Art Worker Fakhraddin Atayev, the stage designer is Vusal Rahim, the stage ballet master is Honored Artist Nigar Shahmuradova, the choir master is Honored Artist Vagif Mastanov, the concertmaster is Fidan Aliyeva, the lighting designer is Rafael Vagifoglu, and the assistant directors are Tamilla Aslanova and Chimnaz Baghirova.

The first performance of the play was attended by Honored Artists Azizaga Azizov, IgrarSalamov, Presidential Prize winners Samadzade Khasiyev, Mehriban Zaliyeva, Presidential scholarship holder Atilla Mammadov, actors Nijat Ali, Faig Mirzayev, Gultaj Alili, Gulnara Abdullayeva, Elnara Nagdaliyeva, Elchin Imanov, Ibrahim Alizadeh, Elkhan Ismayilov, Ali Karimov, Orkhan Huseynov, Kamil Jafarov, Mahammad Mammadov, Nihad Habibov, as well as choir and ballet artists.
