The 60th anniversary of the well-known actress Rasmiya Nurmammadova was celebrated on stage

On July 12, the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater staged the comedy "Aligulu Gets Married Today" (composed by Ogtay Rajabov), based on the play "Aligulu Gets Married" by writer-playwright Sabit Rahman, with a libretto and production by People's Artist Ilham Namig Kamal.

This time, the stage play was performed on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the theater's famous actress Rasmiyya Nurmammadova.

Providing detailed information to the audience about the actress's life and work, Deputy Director of the Academic Musical Theater, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Vafa Muhajirova congratulated the jubilee on behalf of the theater management and staff, and at the same time presented her with an honorary decree of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Cultural Workers of Azerbaijan.

The award awarded by the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan for her services to the development of national theater art and on the occasion of her 60th anniversary was also presented by People's Artist Ilham Namig Kamal, Deputy Chairman of the organization, and expressed his best wishes to Rasmiyya.

It should be noted that the actress, who has dedicated 40 years of her life to theater, plays the role of Humay in this stage production. Along with her, the performance was attended by People's Artist Ilham Namig Kamal (Aligulu), Honored Artists Akbar Alizadeh (Rovshan), Igrar Salamov (Safar), President's Prize winner Samadzade Khasiyev (Kamal), actors Zemfira Abdulsamadova (Govhar), Gulchohra Abdullayeva (Saadat), Alimammad Novruzov (Khalil), Gulnara Azizova (Nazli), Ruslan Mursalov (Azad), Boyukkhanim Mammadova (Heyvakhanim), Mehriban Rajabova (Lumukhanim), Azizakhanim Kazimova (Gumral), as well as choir and ballet artists.
