Bashir Safaroglu's grave was visited on the occasion of his 100th anniversary

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of People's Artist, outstanding master of laughter, theater and film actor Bashir Safaroglu, the collective of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater visited the artist's grave in the 1st Alley of Honor.

Among the visitors were representatives of the Ministry of Culture and public figures of the country.

Director of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Worker of Arts, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev and Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov spoke at the actor's grave and spoke about the glorious artistic path of the outstanding stage master.

Bashir Safaroglu's daughter and worthy successor in art, People's Artist Afag Bashirgizi, also in her speech, looked back at the short and meaningful life of her father, who left an indelible mark on the history of Azerbaijani culture, and noted that the unforgettable images he played in films and theater performances live on in memories. The actress expressed her gratitude to the representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the management of the Musical Theater and everyone who participated in the visit.

It should be noted that on March 6, the performance " The day before the wedding " (Ali Samadli) was shown at the Guba District Cultural Center named after Bashir Safaroglu, with the participation of People's Artist Afag Bashirgizi, in the artistic part of the event, held jointly by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Guba District Executive Power, Guba-Khachmaz Regional Cultural Department and Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, on the occasion of March 10 - Azerbaijan National Theater Day and March 11 - the 100th anniversary of People's Artist Bashir Safaroglu.
