The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater successfully participated in the 4th International Theater Festival held in Sheki.

In accordance with the program of tours organized to the regions with the organization and financial support of the Ministry of Culture, the theater participating in the festival presented the comedy “Molla Nasreddin's Five Wives” (I. Sadigov, production director A. Asgarov).

The roles in the performance, which was staged on the stage of the Sheki State Drama Theater, were performed by Honored Artists Azizaga Azizov, Igrar Salamov, President's Prize winner Mehriban Zaliyeva, Gulnara Abdullayeva, Ulviyya Aliyeva, Guljahan Salamova, Gulnara Azizova, Shaban Jafarov, Alimammad Novruzov, Farid Rzayev, Jabrayil Jabrayilov.

The performance of the creative team was met with applause by the festival participants.

It should be noted that the stage designer of the work is Honored Artist Nabat Samedova, the choreographers are Honored Artists Zakir Agayev and Yelena Agayeva, and the assistant director is Tamilla Aslanova.

At the end of the performance, the creative team of the theater was presented with awards and souvenirs on behalf of the Sheki City Executive Power and the Sheki State Drama Theater. Deputy Director of the Musical Theater, Huseyn Huseynov, expressed his gratitude to the organizers and everyone involved on behalf of the theater management and team for the created conditions.
