Academic Musical Theater will participate in the International Theater Festival in Sheki

The 4th International Theater Festival will be held in Sheki on December 1-5 of this year, dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the establishment of the national professional theater.

The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater will participate in this international event, which will be attended by a number of theater groups from Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, as well as our country, with the two-part comedy “The Five Wives of Molla Nasreddin” by Uzbek writer Ibrahim Sadigov (founded by Honored Artist Asgar Asgarov). The visit is planned to be carried out in accordance with the program of tours organized to the regions with the organization and financial support of the Ministry of Culture.

The performance, which will be staged on December 2 at 17:00 on the stage of the Sheki State Drama Theater, will feature Honored Artists Azizaga Azizov, Igrar Salamov, President's Prize winner Mehriban Zaliyeva, Gulnara Abdullayeva, Ulviyya Aliyeva, Guljahan Salamova, Gulnara Azizova, Shaban Jafarov, Alimammad Novruzov, Farid Rzayev, Jabrayil Jabrayilov.

It should be noted that the stage designer is Honored Artist Nabat Samedova, the founder ballet masters are Honored Artists Zakir Agayev and Yelena Agayeva, and the assistant director is Tamilla Aslanova.
