The soloist of the Musical Theater performed successfully in Kazakhstan
Rauf Babayev, the soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, successfully participated in the “DosStar” XIII Open Operetta and Musical Festival held in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. At the festival attended by famous operetta stars from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Hungary, he played the role of Tony Bonville in “Circus Prince” by the famous Hungarian composer Imre Kalman, and performed at the gala concert.Emphasizing that he felt a great sense of pride while representing our country at international events, Rauf Babayev shared his impressions of the trip:
“This time I left the trip with good impressions. I was extremely pleased with the successful results of our continuous rehearsals with actors from different countries in a short period of time, and the beautiful moments that turned into pleasant memories under the applause of the audience. I wish that projects that promote the development of mutual cultural relations with world theaters will continue. As usual, this time too, I dedicate the awards I won to our theater and express my gratitude to the theater management for the created conditions.”
