"If not that one then this one" was played for the 100th time in the Musical Theater

The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater started the new season with the 100th performance of the performance "If not that one then this one" within the framework of the "Uzeyir Hajibeyli Week" project.

Before the performance, the Director of the Musical Theater, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev congratulated all the theater lovers on the occasion of the National Music Day, the opening of the theater's new season, and the anniversary of the performance. He looked at the history of the creation of the comedy "If not that one then this one" and respectfully mentioned the names of the deceased artists who acted in this play during the 26 years since its last production.

The director of the play, People's Artist of the Order of Glory, Jannat Salimova, who was invited to the stage for a speech, spoke about the important place of Uzeyir's genius in the history of Azerbaijani culture, and said that she was proud to have the play she directed among his immortal works enriching the repertoire of the Musical Theater. Emphasizing that Mashadi Ibad was skillfully played by People's Artists Hajibaba Bagirov (in 1998) and Ramiz Mammadov (in 2000), Honored Artist Shovgu Huseynov (since 2014) also congratulated the People's Artist actor and the theater team on the anniversary of the performance.

People's artist Parviz Mammadrzayev, Honored artists Shovgi Huseynov, Nadir Khasiyev, Nahida Orujova, Azizaga Azizov, Akbar Alizade, Moyla Mirzaliyev, Alimammad Novruzov, Samadzade Khasiyev, Huseyn Alili, Aydan Hasanova, Elmeddin Dadashov, Telnaz Huseynova and other actors have spoken.
