Musical Theater's play "My Woman" was successfully performed in Konya

On May 28, the creative team of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater successfully participated in the 16th "Thousand breaths, one voice" Theater Festival held in Konya, Turkey. On the stage of the Konya State Theater, they performed the play "My Woman" based on the play "Matrushka" by the well-known Turkish writer-playwright Tuncer Cucenoghlu.

The performance of this play on a significant historical day for our country - Independence Day - increased the festive enthusiasm of the creative team even more.

At the end of the performance, which was received with great sympathy by the festival organizers and participants, the actors who appeared on the stage with the flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan also sang a song glorifying the two countries.

Expressing his satisfaction with the participation of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater in the festival, Konya State Theater director Ozgur Bash presented the founder director of the play and the President's prize winner Irada Gozalova with a participation diploma and a symbolic gift of the festival.

Within the framework of the visit, the deputy director of the Musical Theater, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies, Vafa Muhajirova, and the coordinator of international projects of the theater, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies, Rajab Mammadov, met with representatives of various theaters who were guests of the festival and spoke about the importance of mutual cultural relations between theaters.

It should be noted that the production director of the play "My Woman" which is performed as a lyrical-psychological melodrama on the stage of the Musical Theater is Irada Gozalova, the winner of the Presidential award, and the artistic director is Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev.

Young actors of the theater, Emrah Dadashov and Gültaj Alili, winners of the President's award, and choir artists of the theater take part in "My Woman", where Turkish retro music is performed live. The choreographer is Honored artist Nigar Shahmuradova, who also acts as an actress.

The stage designer of the performance is Vusal Rahim, the choirmaster is Malahat Gasimova, and the musical arrangement is Amrah Dadashov.
