Isadora mono performance will be premiered at the Academic Musical Theater

Musical Theater on February 21st and 22nd at 19:00. The monodrama, adapted from Zinovy Sagalov's renowned work "The Three Lives of Isadora," delves into the poignant narrative of the iconic American dancer Isadora Duncan, whose life spanned the 19th and 20th centuries.

Directed and artistically curated by Javid Imamverdiyev, the esteemed chief director of the theater, "Isadora" intricately portrays Duncan's relationships with notable figures of her era, including the esteemed Russian poet Sergey Yesenin, the renowned theater actor Gordon Craig, and other prominent personalities.

The role of Isadora is masterfully brought to life by the talented soloist of the theater, Olga Georgievna, who skillfully intertwines themes of love and creativity throughout the performance.

Under the artistic direction of the esteemed Honored Artist and Doctor of Philosophy, Aligismat Lalayev, with musical direction by the Honored Artist Fakhreddin Atayev, set design by Honored painter Nabat Samadova, choreography by the Honored Artist Nigar Shahmuradova, and musical editing by Nigar Suleymanova, "Isadora" promises to be a captivating theatrical experience.

The monodrama incorporates a selection of Sergei Yesenin's poetry, set to music by internationally acclaimed composers such as Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninoff, Ludwig van Beethoven, Frederic Chopin, Anthony Newley, Arthur Hamilton, Leslie Bricusse, Astor Piazzolla, George Gershwin, Igor Stravinsky, Thomas Albinoni, Isaac Schwartz (with lyrics by Bulat Okudzhava), as well as compositions by People's Artist Sarkhan Sarkhan (with lyrics by Yuriy Rubtsov).

Tickets for this exclusive performance, which will be showcased on the theater's small stage, are available for purchase at all theater-concert box offices throughout the city, "ASAN service" centers, and the "Iticket.az" website. Group reservations are also accommodated.
