The play “ Aligulu is getting married” is being prepeared in Musical Theater

At the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, rehearsals for new stage works by various directors are successfully ongoing. One of the is the comedy “Aligulu is getting married” (Oktay Rajabov, Sabit Rahman), prepared under the libretto and direction of the People’s Artist honered with the “National” artist, Ilham Namig Kamal.

During the rehearsal of the performance, the theater’s director, honored artist, and philosophy doctor Aligismat Lalayev participated, enganging in the creative discussions and providing some recommendations.

Renowned actor Ilham Namig Kamal, emphasizing the significant responsibility of bringing another work of Sabit Rahman to the stage after the comedy “ Hijran”, expressed gratitude to the theater leadership for the created conditions.

The contemporary production features compositions by the esteemed composer Oktay Rajabov, and the author of the musical texts is the honored artist and well-known poet Baba Vaziroglu .

The founding conductor of the stage work is the honored artist Fakhradding Atayev, the choir master is the honored artist Vagif Mastanov, the founding ballet master is the honored artist Emin Aliyev, the founding painter is the honored painter Nabat Samadova, costume designer is Nubar Huseyinova, concertmaster is Fidan Aliyeva, and the director’s assistant is the honored artist Ilqar Salamov.

The cast includes Ilham Namig Kamal, alongside honored artists Nahide Orujova, Ilqar Salamov, President’s awardee Samadzade Khasiyev, actors Ulviyya Aliyeva, Rasmiyye Nurmammadova, Gultaj Alili, Aydan Hasanova, Alimammad Novruzov, Shaban Jafarov, Eleonora Abbasova, Gulnara Azizova, Ruslan Muselov,Elchin Imanov, Mehriban Rajabova, Narmin Aliyeva, Boyukkhanim Mammadova, Nazrin Ismailzade, Alizamin Abbasov.

As is common in most theater productions, both the choir and ballet artists will also grace the stage in this performance.
