The memorandum of cooperation has been signed between two brotherly countries

The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater and the Samarkand Regional Musical Drama Theater has been signed the memorandum of cooperation.

The directors of both theaters - Honored Artist, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev and Isgender Sultanov, Honored Cultural Worker of Uzbekistan who has "Shohrat" medal, discussed the issues related to the future cooperation .
The meeting includes the organization of creative projects between two Turkic-speaking countries, concert tours, as well as the exchange of experience of creative teams in the field of theater art, consultations on the actual problems of theater art, etc. 

Considering this memorandum as a part of successful cooperation between the Musical Theater and Uzbekistan theaters, Aligismat Lalayev also spoke about the current relations with the Kattakurgon City Drama Theater of Uzbekistan, the Mugimi State Musical Theater of Uzbekistan and the Namangan Provincial Musical Drama and Comedy Theater.

Expressing his satisfaction with the cooperation with the musical theater, Iskander Sultanov expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked hard for organisation conditions - TURKSOY, the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

Also should be added that the Samarkand Regional Music and Drama Theater in honor of the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Azerbaijan Professional National Theater, the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY, as well as the announcement of the city of Shushi as the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic World” for 2023 in Within the framework of the 1st International Theater Festival TURKSOY, “Leyli and Majnun” was successfully demonstrated on the stage of the Azerbaijan State Academic Theater.
