A young Russian theater director has been a guest at the Musical Theater.

Alisa Litvinova, the chairperson of the jury of the "Belaya veja – 2023" International Theater Festival held in the Republic of Belarus and also a curator for several international theater festivals, a young Russian critic, has visited the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.
Invited by the director of the Musical Theater, Honored Art Worker, and Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev, Alisa Litvinova had the opportunity to closely acquaint herself with the collective and repertoire of the Musical Theater during her visit to Baku.
She watched performances such as "Lara Martin’s Jazz Club", “A dedication to Paris Notre-Dame", "Silva", "Who is Guilty?", "Psyche," "Unknown stairs", "My Mother's Book", “If not that one, then this one", “Bakhtiyar”, "Magical Song", and others. She shared her impressions and suggestions during discussions about these performances, also discussing the theater process in Russia.
Rajab Mammadov, the coordinator for International Projects at the Musical Theater and a Doctor of Philosophy in Art Studies, introduced Alisa Litvinova to the notable places in the city. Note that, the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater maintains close ties with artists, producers, and theater critics from various countries, engages in experience exchange, and invites them to Azerbaijan. As a continuation of these connections, the theater's collective successfully participates in numerous international conferences, festivals, and competitions.
