Heroes of Hugo again on the stage of the Musical Theater

The play "Dedication to Paris Notre-Dame" was performed at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater for the next time which is staged by director Samir Gulamov based on the motifs of the novel "Paris Notre-Dame Church" by the world-famous French writer Victor Hugo.

The play, which was successfully presented in the repertoire of the Musical Theater, was dedicated to the fire incident that occurred on April 15, 2019 in the Paris Notre-Dame church, one of the magnificent monuments of Europe.

The ancient theater of Azerbaijan showed that it was not indifferent to this event by bringing the heroes of Hugo to the stage and called all mankind to solidarity for saving the historical monuments, regardless of religion and race.

Samir Gulamov is the production director and stage designer of the play, and the author of the idea and artistic director is Honored Art Figure - Aligismat Lalayev.

In the main theme of the plot line of the play are the immortal heroes of the "Paris Notre-Dame Church" written by Victor Hugo in 1831, which is considered the peak of the historical novel genre in French literature.

This famous play, which embodies feelings of kindness, gratuitous love and compassion, has been staged many times in many well-known theaters around the world, under the interpretations of different directors, under the names "Paris Notre-Dame Church" or "Gospel of Notre-Dame".
