The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan awarded the Uzbek theater

Today, the departure ceremony of the creative team of the Kattagorgon City Drama Theater of the Samarkand Province of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

Emin Aliyev, the chief adviser of the theater sector of the Ministry of Culture, who participated in the ceremony, presented the "Decree of Honor" signed by the Minister of Culture Anar Karimov to the director of the Uzbek theater, Batir Tugalov.

It should be noted that within the framework of a one-week tour to Baku, the Uzbek theater successfully presented the comedy "Mother-in-law" (M.Shamkhalov) three times on the stage of the Academic Musical Theater, staged by Honored Art Worker Asgar Asgarov.

The collective participated in a number of cultural and business meetings which won the sympathy of the Azerbaijani audience. On behalf of the creative team of the Kattagorgon City Drama Theater, director of the theater Batir Tugalov expressed his gratitude to everyone who took part in the organization of the project.

Within the framework of this project, which contributed to the development of cultural relations between the two countries, the head of the Uzbek theater awarded the director of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev and the theater's production director, Honored Art Worker Asgar Asgarov with a commemorative gift.

Emphasizing that they were very satisfied with the trip, the guests returned to Uzbekistan today.
