"Mother-in-law" play of Uzbeks is coming to the Musical Theater

On December 2, 4, 5 at 19:00, the collective of the Kattakurgan City Drama Theater of Uzbekistan will be the guest of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

The Uzbek theater will present the comedy "Mother-in-law" (M.Shamkhalov), which is a classical play of Azerbaijan within the framework of the visit. 

It should be recalled that in the summer of this year, the production director of the Academic Musical Theater, the Honored Art Worker Asgar Asgarov was invited to Uzbekistan by the invitation of the Eurasian Theater Union, to the Kattakurgan Theater to stage this performance.

It should be noted that the play "Mother-in-law" was staged for the first time in 1965 at the Musical Comedy Theater (now the Academic Musical Theater) under the direction of director Niyaz Sharifov. Our unique People's Artist Nasiba Zeynalova won the hearts of millions with her unforgettable image in this performance.

The character of Paradise will be performed by Gulbahar Mammadova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, recipient of the "Frendship" order, in the play "Mother-in-law", which will be presented in the repertoire of the Uzbek theater, directed by Asgar Askerov.

     The artist of the performance is Bahram Safoyev, the music composer is Sevda Aliyeva, and the director's assistant is Feruzbek Abdurayimov.
