The time of the awaited premiere has been announced at the Musical Theater

The premiere of the new project of the Ministry of Culture - "My Mother's Book" will be staged at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater On October 15, 16, at 19:00 pm.

The stage play was prepared based on one of the classic examples of Azerbaijani drama - "My Mother's Book" by Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.

Actors from different theaters of our country will share the same stage in the play. The work created in a new and modern way of director. The main goal of the play, which is made in English for the first time, is to promote our native language - our mother language.

The main theme of the great playwright's work is the continuous arguments and conflicts between the three brothers because of the differences in language, religion, and ways of thinking. Mother, the protagonist of the work, calls her sons to have their own national and spiritual values, to learn their mother language to unite.

On the other hand, sons strive to meet the demands of the modern world; as a result, they face the danger of losing their national values by the help of an environment, which is rich in innovative technologies.

Thus, the mother begins to fight with her children. The burden of pain piercing her heart does not subside; it flares up even more, as if it turns into a strange dragon in the legends. Unfortunately, in this difficult struggle, the dragon-sized burden of pain defeats the mother.

Of course, there are many benefits of mastering in new technologies and learning foreign languages in accordance with the requirements of our modern era, but everyone should know their native language, national values, and history.

The arrangement of battle scenes and dances belongs to People's Artist Parviz Mammadrzayev and director Zaur Aliyev.
