The Academic Musical Theater has signed a cooperation agreement with the Belarusian Theater

A delegation of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater visiting the Republic of Belarus visited the VI Dunin-Martsinkevich Drama and Comedy Theater in Mogilev region today. The building of the theater and meetings with the staff aroused interest on both sides.

In the end, the theater directors signed a cooperation agreement.

Director of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev said: "Our visit is very productive. We have attended a number of official and business meetings. We have met with members of our diaspora, which operates here and plays a very important role in the public life of the city. Today, we signed a cooperation agreement with Veronica Alexandrina Vinel, director of the VI Dunin-Martsinkevich Drama and Comedy Theater in Mogilev region, which will be beneficial for both theaters. According to the agreement, it is planned to continue inter-theatrical creative relations, exchange directors, actors and artists in the future. At the same time, we talked about the staging of works by playwrights of the two countries in both Baku and Belarus, and all such issues. I hope that this cooperation will contribute to the development of our culture and theatrical environment. I would like to note that tomorrow we will take part in the International Theater Festival "Wreath of Friendship" in Bobruisk, this region.
We will present a mono-performance of the same name based on the fantastic story "The Meek" by the world-famous writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky, directed by our esteemed People's Artist Jannat Salimova. The only hero of the work will be Honored Artist Shovgi Huseynov.
