The memory of People's Artist Mobil Ahmadov will be commemorated at the Musical Theater

The immortal musical comedy "Arshin mal alan" by genius Uzeyir Hajibeyli will be performed at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater on June 3 at 19:00. The performance is dedicated to the memory of the late artist, People's Artist Mobil Ahmadov.
Before the performance, the head of the Literary Department of the Musical Theater, Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic - Telli Panahgizi will speak and inform the audience about the life and work of the late artist.
The operetta will be performed by honored artists Nargiz Karimova, Nadir Khasiyev, actors Elkhan Ismayilov, Guljahan Salamova, Ulviya Aliyeva, Ibrahim Alizade, Emin Zeynalli, Mehriban Zaliyeva.
For many years, Mobil Ahmadov played the role of a soldier in the play "Arshin mal alan" on the stage of the Musical Theater.
Mobil- son fo Salman, Ahmadov was born on September 10, 1931 in the city of Ganja. In 1955, he entered the Baku Art School named after Azim Azimzade, and a year later began to study at the Azerbaijan State Conservatory in the class of prominent vocalist Bulbul. After graduating from the Conservatory in 1961, M. Ahmadov began working as a soloist in the Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Choir. In September of the same year, he was invited to the Azerbaijan State Theater of Musical Comedy (now the Academic Musical Theater), where he successfully performed in more than 70 performances during about 40 years.
He played roles such as: Sarvar (“If not that one, then this one”), Asgar (“Arshin mal alan”), Heydar bey (“Stingy”), Nadir (“Gold diggers”), Bakhtiyar (“Star”), Orphan (“Millionaire's beggar son”) , Ayaz (“Mother-in-law”), Alay (“Congrulations”), Sahib (“Nuts”), Rashid (“Where are you, sinlge?”), Giyas (“Five manat bride”), Khazar (“Mammadali goes to the resort”) ), Nemat ("New Bride"), Chingiz ("Divorce, let's get married"), Murad ("Durna"), Orkhan ("Hijran") and other characters, which have left indelible marks in the memory of theater lovers.
For his services to the development of Azerbaijani culture, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan" in 1978, and "People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan" in 2000.
