The next destination of the "Cultural Youth" project was the Academic Musical Theater

In order to increase the interest of young people in art, the current address of the "Cultural Youth" project was the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, which implemented by the Ministry of Culture.

Jafar Hasanov, an employee of the theater sector of the Ministry of Culture, spoke about the importance of the project. He noted that the Ministry of Culture is implementing a number of projects for the development of culture in our country.

One of these projects is the "Cultural Youth" project. As part of the project, students of Baku State University will be able to watch performances and concerts in various cultural institutions of Azerbaijan. They will not only just watch, but also meet with the team, take part in the survey and get an opportunity to evaluate their favorite theater, directors, and artists. Later, the play, named “A Dedication to Paris Notre Dame” performed at the theater as part of the project.

Aligismat Lalayev- Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History, is the author and artistic director of the play A Dedication to Paris Notre Dame”. The play staged and directed by Samir Gulamov based on the motifs of the world-famous writer Victor Hugo's "Paris Notre Dame".

The play is dedicated to the fire that broke out on April 15, 2019 in the Notre Dame Church in Paris, that is one of the great symbols of Europe, a unique historical architectural gem of humankind.

The Paris Notre Dame Dedication includes works by Richard Conchianten, who is in the Guinness Book of Records for the musical Notre-Dame de Paris, and world-famous composers: Richard Strauss, Thomaso Albinoni, George Bizet and Samuel Barber.

The conductor and author of the orchestration is Fakhraddin Atayev, Honored Art Worker. The founding choreographers are Honored Artists Zakir and Leyla Aghayevs.

The choirmaster is Honored Artist Vagif Mastanov, the set designer is Vusal Rahim, the author of the musical texts is the Secretary of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, poet Ilgar Fahmi, the conductor is Samad Suleymanli, the concertmaster is Presidential Scholar - Kamil Hasanov, and the assistant directors are Sevinj Mammadova and Amrah Dadashov.

This time the roles in the performance are: Honored Artist Nadir Khasiyev, actors Nijat Ali, Mehriban Zaliyeva, Emin Zeynalli, Huseyn Alili, Samadzade Khasiyev, Shaban Jafarov, Murad Aliyev, Ophelia Mammadova, Farid Rzayev, Zaur Aliyev, Ali Karimov, Jabrayil Jabrailov, and as well as choir and ballet artists of the troupe.

It should be useful to notice that this play, which has been included in the repertoire of the Academic Musical Theater since November 2019, can constantly attract a large audience and is at the top of the list of the most popular performances of the theater.

The second performance within the framework of the project "Cultural youth" "If not that one, then this one" comedy will take place on June 7 at 19:00 in the Academic Musical Theater, belongs to the genius composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli.
