The Minister awarded the volunteers of the Academic Musical Theater

Minister of Culture Anar Karimov awarded all members for their active participation in the "One Day in the Theater”operating at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, theproject organized by the Ministry of Culture.

Aluda Shakarova - the administrator of the theater, head of volunteers of the Academic Musical Theater, informed us about it, and thanked the Ministry of Culture on behalf of the young volunteers for the attention. She also gave details about the need for the establishment of the organization and the successes it has achieved since its inception: In accordance with the relevant Order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic on declaring 2020 the "Year of Volunteers", "Volunteers of the Academic Musical Theater" group was established. It is gratifying that since long time we have been able to bring together young theater-lovers, whom have different talents and abilities, and this sequence continues. In general, the purpose of the establishment of theater volunteers was the lack of volunteers in the field of culture in our country. We wanted to fill the gap in this area with theater volunteers, and in a short time we achieved what we wanted, albeit partially, and invited young people interested in art and theater. The young people who joined our group first gotacquainted with the behind-the-scenes moments of the theater in various trainings and had some experience. Although the creation of the volunteer group was during the pandemic, we were always with the artists who needed help. 
Last year, the Academic Musical Theater's "Inclusive Theater" project, adopted by UNESCO, was attended by sign language volunteers and did their best to help members of the "Inclusive Theater" studio. 
We have tried to fulfill the tasks given at the events organized on the occasion of March 10 - National Theater Day, March 27 - International Theater Day with great responsibility.
We are always in the spotlight of the theater management for our activities at this or other events. We thank you for the conditions created for us. Theater and volunteerism are high values and have always been our motto. For the sake of the development of our country, we plan to implement better ideas in the future together with theater-loving youth. We want to continue these traditions with great responsibility and always see young people who are interested in theater with us. "
