A new premier on National Theater Day at Academic Musical Theater

The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater will remain committed to its tradition and meet the audience with a new performance on National Theater Day.

On 110th season, the next premiere of the ancient theater will be the "Five Pound Bride" comedy based on the opera of the composer, People's Artist Said Rustamov, and written by prominent writer Mammad Said Ordubadi. The performance will be played on March 10 and 14 at 7 pm.

This performance reflects deeper meaning, living conditions, and funny surprises of life on the plotline. It has been regularly presented at Academic Music Theater from 1940 to 1994, also welcomed by theatergoers.

 The show is different from previous versions. In the roles: People's actress Fatma Mahmudova; Ilham Namig Kamal; Honored artists: Novruz Aliyev, Alakbar Aliyev Nadir Khasiyev; Igrar Salamov; actors: Moyla Mirzaliyev, Elkhan Ismayilov, Aghakhan Sharifov, Gulcahan Salamova, Ulviyya Aliyeva, Mehriban Zaliyeva, Turkel Tarigpeyma, Samad Khasiyev, Gulnara Azizova, Elnara Naghdaliyeva, Ibrahim Alizadeh, Ruslan Mursalov, Nigar Garayeva Alimammad Novruzov, Farid Rzayev, and Ruslan Mursalov will perform.

As always, the ballet and chorus artists will add a unique harmony to the performance. The chief conductor is Honored Art Figure Fakhraddin Atayev. The painter is honored artist Nabat Samedova; the choreographers are honored artists Zakir Aghayev and Yelena Aghayevs; the conductor is Samad Suleymanli; the concertmaster is Fidan Babayeva; the choirmaster is Honored artist Vagif Mastanov, the director assistant is Tamilla Aslanova.
