The presentation of the project "Nizami - 880" was held at the Academic Musical Theater

The presentation of a project dedicated to the 880th anniversary of the great Nizami Ganjavi was held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

At the opening ceremony of presentation, First Deputy Minister of Culture- Elnur Aliyev, Head of the Art Department of the Ministry of Culture - Farah Ajalova, as well as well-known cultural and art figures participated, and the director of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev briefed the guests about the project. 

He said that this project in connection with the proclamation of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi", , arising from the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, is a contribution of the theater to the "Year of Nizami".

As the author of the idea and artistic director of the project, A. Lalayev invited the guests to watch a video of the ballet composition, which reflects the life and work of the great poet. Speaking at the event, First Deputy Minister of Culture Elnur Aliyev praised the ballet composition dedicated to the Year of Nizami. He spoke about the importance of such projects in promoting the brilliant legacy of the great thinker, who, despite the passage of centuries, has always maintained its relevance and the importance of organizing their presentation at future international events. 
E.Aliyev congratulated the theater staff for a worthy contribution to the "Year of Nizami" and wished them new creative success. People's Artists Jamila Bayramova and Sarkhan Sarkhan noted the success of the composition performed by People's Artist of the USSR Muslim Magomayev to the tune of Uzeyir Hajibeyli's novel "Without You" with the participation of actors and members of the ballet troupe.
I should note that Javid Imamverdiyev is the director of the project, People's Artist Tarana Muradova is the choreographer, Kamal Mammadov, Murad Hasanov are the camera operators and Fuad Tahmazov is the editor.
The choreographer of the project, the choreographer of the theater, Honored Artist Emin Aliyev also created the image of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi.
