Premiere of Inclusive Theater - "Travel mood"

During International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 2 at 17:00 at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, participants of the "Inclusive Theater" international project will present a creative report and a performance of "Travel Mood".

I want to inform that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) under the “Participation Program for 2020-2021 on the activities of Member States” adopted the “Inclusive Theater Project” of the Academic Musical Theater.

The head of the international project is the director of the theater, Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev.

The main goal of the project is to involve children with hearing and speech impairments, as well as adolescents and young people in the country in artistic creation, to help these people to socialize and integrate into society.

So far, the project participants are rehearsing in the inclusive theater studio "Gesture", which operates as part of the theater's "Creative Studio", and, the theater has created all conditions for them.
The members of the studio take classes in acting, dance, body language, illusion art, clowning and other areas. The leading artists of the republic assist them in this work. Famous actor, People's Artist of the Republic Parviz Mammadrzayev, choreographer Honored Artist of the Republic Emin Aliyev, well-known illusionist, laureate of international festivals Tofig Isgandarli deal with the members of the studio.
The producer of the project, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Rajab Mammadov gives detailed theoretical information about theater and circus art to the members of the studio.

Aida Safarova, chairperson of the "Silent World" Sign Language Support Public Union for Supporting the Disabled and Athletes, and members of the Musical Theater's volunteer group help teachers in sign-ups by selecting and communicating with the studio members.
The young members of the Inclusive Theater dedicate their performances to people with hearing impairments, and wish them to look at life with confidence and work to integrate into society.

Their biggest dream is to create a professional theater of mimics and gestures for the hearing impaired in our country in the future.
