The minister of Culture appointed a new artist to the Musical Theatre
By the related order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Anar Karimov appointed talented young artist Vusal Rahim chief artist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.
Vusal Rahim thanked the minister and the management of the theater for the trust shown to him and said: “This appointment is an example of trust and confidence in me and increases my responsibility once again. I promise to justify this confidence and continue my activities more responsibly”.
Vusal (son of Khalil) Rahimov was born on December 20, 1987 in Ganja. In 1994-2005, he studied at the secondary school No. 20 in Ganja. He received a bachelor's degree in "Theater and Decor Art" at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts during 2007-2011 years. Vusal Rahimov, who started his independent creative activity in 2011, has been the founder of dozens of performances in different theaters of the country since that year.
In 2014, he started to work as an executive artist at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, and from 2019 until November of this year as a creative artist.
He gave an artistic design to “Skapen's tricks" (J.B. Molyer), " Sleeping beauties and dwarfs "(Sh. Pero)," Golden wedding "(O.Kazimi, R.Haydar)," New Year's adventures of the dwarf "(Azerbaijani folk tale" Dwarf "), "Nuri-dida Jeyhun" (A.Amirli), "The Golden Key", "The Adventures of Buratino" (A.Tolstoy), "Paris Notre Dame Dedication" (V.Hugo staging author: S.Gulamov).
In all his performances, he attaches great importance to revealing the direction of the idea of the work said by the director, the interpretation of images through artistic description, and he successfully implements this in his works.
In total, the young artist is the author of 4 solo exhibitions, participated in about 100 local and international exhibitions, was the manager of about 40 socio-cultural projects, as well as the creator of 3 feature films, stage and costume designer of many performances and concerts.
