An employee of the Academic Musical Theater was also rewarded the medal "For the Motherland"

Aliaga Mammadov of Eldaniz, an employee of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, was posthumously awarded the medal "For the Motherland" by the relevant order of President Ilham Aliyev. Director of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev spoke with great pride about the employee of the theater, martyr Aliaga Mammadov and said he was always proud of people like him: "Aliaga Mammadov was the lighting operator of our theater. During his work, he gained the respect of the theater staff with his culture of behavior and discipline. Although Aliaga's bitter news shocked us, each of us is proud of it. Because martyrdom is such a peak that not everyone is lucky.”
He was heroically martyred in one of the fiercest battles for the homeland, saving the life of his commander. His short but meaningful life is a heroic epic in the true sense of the word ... Aliaga will always live in our hearts.
In the coming days, the composition that will be prepared by the theater staff in memory of our martyr will be presented to social network viewers. We will never forget our hero, and in our future projects, we will remember him with deep respect. We ask God to have mercy on our bright-faced martyrs and patience for their relatives."
Aliaga Mammadov son of Eldaniz was born on July 26, 2001, in the Sabunchu district of Baku. After graduating from high school No. 80, named after National Hero Nazim Ismayilov, he wanted to try himself in sports. His performance in various judo competitions earned him medals and certificates. After receiving vocational training, he began working as a lighting operator at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. He left for the army while he was working at the theatre. This young man, who illuminated the dark stage of the theater, duly fulfilled his sacred duty to the motherland.
During one of the heavy battles, Aliaga saved the life of the battalion commander at the cost of his own life and rose to the peak of martyrdom in the same battle (October 6, 2020).
For victory thanks to sons like Aliaga, and our country, which groaned under the enemy, liberated! May God have mercy on all our martyrs!
